United Bank of Newnan Hires Yetta Richardson

Residential Construction Specialist

Two of the major signs of economic recovery in a community are new homes sales and new residential construction. This cycle is beginning to play out in many of our United Bank markets, but particularly in Newnan and Coweta County. The community continues to attract new residents to support its rapidly growing medical services industry, and permits for new construction are on the rise. United Bank recently announced the addition of Yetta Richardson to its Newnan team to provide lending expertise during this time of growth.

“There are few banks in this market with residential construction expertise,” explains John Hall, President of United Bank Newnan. “Yetta has 30 years of experience supporting builders and developers, providing specialized lending support through their business cycles.”

Yetta, who was born and raised in Newnan, has worked in the community nearly all her life. She officially joined the Bank in late March 2016.

“New housing developments are already underway, and I believe more are coming. Developers, builders and their partners have had some difficult years due to the economic downturn. I’m excited to see new things starting up again in my hometown, and I look forward to working for a community bank committed to supporting this part of the housing industry,” offered Yetta. “Our specialization in residential construction lending, coupled with the outstanding programs in our mortgage division allow United Bank to support the entire cycle. We can support the developer, the building project and then convert to the permanent mortgage.”

United Bank is one of the largest servicers of Freddie Mac mortgages in the state of Georgia.

“I’ve never worked for a bank that retains the majority of its loans for ongoing customer service and escrow management,” said Yetta.  “I look forward to offering that to my customers.”

We invite our Newnan customers to stop by and meet Yetta, and learn more about new home options.
